This model is the Timpo Racing Car in cream.

All detail is cast into the body casting. At the front is a crude grille and the top of the "bonnet" has a chevron-like patter that may be meant to indicate air louvres. Behind this is the cockpit (very basic), and then the rear fin and more "louvres" at the rear of the car. On either side of the car is a rectangular bulge that could either be a fuel tank or simply "aerodynamic" styling.

The model was probably produced in the 1940s or 1950s and so has no real interior or glazing.

All wheels are of a ridged hub type - black painted, one piece metal hubs, each with a black rubber tyre, mounted on a crimped, steel, nail-head axle. The axles pass through the body casting, done during assembly before the axles were crimped.

There is no base plate but the under side of the casting has "Timpo, Toys, Made in England" cast on three lines under what would be the bonnet of the racing car.

This model was probably issued in the 1940s or early 1950s.
