This is the Lincoln (NZ) 4300 Austin Petrol Tanker issued in the 1960s as part of the Motorway Mini Series in White

This version of the model is a one piece casting with simplistic detail such as bumpers, lights, body lines and trim etc. cast into the metal. There is no glazing or base to the model. The body is sprayed in a single colour, white. On the under-side, the model carries no manufacturer's marks or country of origin. The original axles are pointed on both ends, carry solid metal wheels (no tread), and are pinch-clamped to pillar mounts on the body casting, one wide pillar under the "cab" area and one under the rear roof.

This is the Lincoln (NZ) 4300 Austin Petrol Tanker issued in the 1960s as part of the Motorway Mini Series. This model is unpainted which suggests the item was part of the last manufactured in New Zealand as when production ceased, the models were disposed of through the local chain store McKenzies', in unpainted form, where they were sold from large clearance bins.
