This model is the Glam Toy Products GTP-566 Circus Van in Big Top Circus livery of green, red and yellow.
The model has a one-piece, pressed metal body, 105mm in length. It has been shaped with rudimentary representations of the body lines and wheel arches. There is no glazing - all the features are litho-printed onto the body. At the front are representations of the windows with driver and passenger. To the sides the passenger can be seen, with three "curtained" windows on each of the upper sides which are green above a yellow body line. The lower sides are also in green with black "G.T.P. Circus" lettering on a blue background and have red wheel arch covers. The roof is predominantly red with "BIG TOP CIRCUS" in Yellow lettering in the center and "G.T.P. Circus" in red lettering on a yellow background above the front window. The front is also in green with a grey and white grille. The rear is also green and bears the legend "Made in England" in yellow lettering on the red rear door with a green numberplate below this with yellow lettering reading "G.T.P. 566". Either side of the red door are two further windows in white and red and yellow rear lights.
The original two part, pressed tin wheels are still on the model, mounted on steel axles with crimped ends.
The baseplate is a single piece, pressed tin unit shaped with a strengthening panel down the centre line. It has been press fitted to the body and the edges rolled to hold it over the edges of the body. It appears not to have been plated or painted. There are no manufacturer's marks or country of origin details on the base.
I do not know exactly when this item was issued but believe it to be between 1950 and 1959.
