This model is the Glam Toy Products GTP-506 4 Door Sedan Car in Green and Red.

The model has a one-piece, pressed metal body, 103mm in length. It has been shaped with rudimentary representations of the body lines. There is no glazing - all the features are litho-printed onto the body. At the front are representations of the windows, head lights and grille, and bumpers with printed numberplate – green lettering on a silver background [GTP 506]. To the sides there are no outlines of the doors but the door handles are present (as on other models in the range), giving the impression the front doors are of the "suicide door" variety (rear hinged rather than front hinged). The lower sides are in red with a single silver curved line representing body trim, while the upper body is in green. The roof is green with a silver outline representing a roof hatch. The rear bears the legend "Made in England" below the boot lid and below the silver numberplate with green lettering reading "GTP 506" (NOTE the absence of the full stops/dots that appear between the letters GTP on other models in the range).

The original two part, pressed tin wheels are still on the model , mounted on steel axles with crimped ends.

The baseplate is a single piece, flat, pressed tin unit. It has been press fitted to the body and the edges rolled to hold it over the edges of the body. It has been plated or painted in a silver coating, which on this model has remained almost entirely intact. There are no manufacturer's marks or country of origin details on the base.

I do not know exactly when this item was issued but believe it to be between 1950 and 1959.
