This model is of the Fun Ho! #33 Rolls Royce Phantom V in blue.
There are no opening parts on this model. All features are cast into the metal of the model.
At the front there is a cast representation of the front bumper, headlights, and grille. Both sides carry cast body lines and trim, and front and rear doors. The rear is cast to show the boot lid, rear lights, and number plate.
There is no interior. There is no glazing.
All wheels appear to be one piece, black plastic, typical of the Fun Ho! miniatures of the time, mounted on domed steel axles.
The base plate appears plated or painted silver. It incorporates the front and rear bumpers. The base is attached to the body casting by two machined rivets, one to the front and one to the rear, and it carries a representation of the gearbox, drive shaft, rear differential, and exhaust system. It is marked "Rolls Royce, Phantom V" on two lines to the centre top, "Made In New Zealand No 33" on a single line just below the drive shaft (middle centre), and Fun Ho! N.Z." to the centre bottom.
Issued between 1967 and 1982, more than 90,700 were made in a scale of 1:91. My reasoning is that the normal length for the Rolls Royce Phantom V was 238 inches (6.045 metres) and the model has a length of approximately 2.5 inches (66mm) (6045/66 = 1:91.5).
