This model is the Condon Site Dumper in green with yellow wheels. It is missing the driver.
The model features an open, cast body with separate cast tipper attached. All features are cast into the body casting — the grille. headlight, side lights, name plate, bumper, and hatches. The number plate is also cast on the front of the body [CP1949] — I assume this signifies Condon Products 1949, and is the year in which the mold was manufactured. The tipper is also cast metal and is a simple casting, fixed to the body by a crimped nail "hinge".
There is no base plate, but the unpainted underside of the body is marked with "Condon" parallel to the rear axle and "Made in England" in a block of three lines just forward this.
All wheels consist of yellow hub and tyre metal castings on axles made from nails and crimped on one end. The axles are pinch-crimped in place to two longer pillars at the front and two short stubs at the rear.
This model was issued between 1949 and 1960.
