Box, Italy

Box was an Italian company that produced 1:43 scale models during the 1980s. The company mainly produced Ferrari, Jaguar, and AC Cobra racing cars that featured in the big races of the 1960s. It restructured itself in 1991 and split into two different companies, Bang and Best. The two are considered to produce two different lines of models, with Bang concentrating on 1:43 scale vintage racing cars and Best concentrating on street cars.

The models are of a very good quality, manufactured in Italy, and many were simply re-issued under the new company names with new baseplates.

The models generally come mounted on a black plastic baseplate with clear perspex display top, inside a cardboard outer box.
