This model is the AHI Military Missile Launcher Truck in olive and white missile.
The model has a two-piece metal body, 46mm in length. It has been molded with the body casting having representations of the grille, windscreen, front bumper and doors cast at the front, rear wheel guards, and tow ring to the rear. The missile launcher, and the rear missile appear to be cast metal, the launcher being part of the body casting and the missile being a separate casting. The main body also has cast shapes, painted black, to represent the wheels. There is no base or glazing.
The original wheels are black cast metal and are attached to steel axles (this appears to be one single casting without a separate axle). They appear to be held to the body chassis by means of a pressure fit, inside the cast wheel shapes cast into the main body..
The under side of the casting has no country of origin detail or manufacturer's mark, however the word "Japan" appears on the front left door.
I do not know exactly when this item was issued but it would have been between 1950 and the early 1960s.
